Description
This barred owl decided to spend his day sleeping at eye level just a few feet from the boardwalk at Corkscrew Swamp. He was awake when we first passed, and regarded us fearlessly and somewhat disdainfully. When we went back by him later he was asleep and surrounded by admirers taking pictures with far better cameras than I own.
Apparently he is used to celebrity.
